Adding up our Blessings

By Catherine Risling

With so many reasons to begin a new year with ambivalence, LooHoo Wool Dryer Balls proprietress Cyndi Prince is optimistic.

Thanks to a loyal customer base and coverage in local and national publications, sales were strong in 2020. LooHoo added more new stores since it introduced a healthy alternative to dryer sheets and started reducing dryer time a decade ago. The company also recommitted to its mission of providing healthier options for our home environment.

This past year LooHoo eliminated plastic in its packaging and switched to tree-free paper. With every purchase of a LooHoo Pack in a reusable bag, the company plants a tree.

Orders included a special gift—a heart embedded with seeds that could be planted directly in the garden.

LooHoo reintroduced dog toys and boy, did pet owners respond! People magazine named the braided Wooly Tug Toy the best plush dog toy of the year in December and sales took off. LooHoo also received shoutouts in O, The Oprah Magazine, Apartment Therapyand Maine Women Magazineduring the last 12 months.

“It’s been a tough of a year for so many and I’m so thankful we’ve been able to accomplish so much despite the pandemic,” Prince says. “Together we have been able to contribute to thousands of hours of energy saved, and for this I am grateful.”

As LooHoo looks forward to the promise of a new year, Cyndi acknowledges their loyal customers’ continued support. And for those about to discover the benefits of LooHoo Wool Dryer Balls, she can’t wait to meet you.
