A wonderful blog post by Whitney & Seabren Reeves, Co-Founders of Bitzy Baby.
When you become a parent, your expectations of what should happen never turnout how you planned. You become messier, busier, more tired and yet filled with such hope for how each new day will be. Goals in life change and yet the passion you have to create the best for your child never wavers. For us, that was the birth of Bitzy.
We were first time parents, trying to keep up on all the latest in safety statistics while still creating a comfortable environment for our little bitzy-to-be. I’ll never forget the hours spent researching each product not realizing just how important it was to find the best fit for our family. That each item would be our solution to increasing the amount of everyone’s sleep, relieving stress, and providing comfort for our child as they grew. That each item would live with our family and be a daily part of our children’s beginnings. And with this, we struggled with our options for safe sleeping.
It occurred to us, under the harsh neon lights of the bedding section, that there was no quality solution for the most essential area our child would be in for their first year. Looking at each other, we realized there had to be something better and being problem-solvers, we would search high and low.
Bitzy transformed into something so much bigger than we first intended. Starting with the needs of our family for a crib bumper, we heard from others how much they also were seeking a solution and felt compelled to launch Bitzy into what it is today. Safe sleeping is not only something we believe, it is something we are working to make available for all infants. Joining the ASTM International Infant Bedding SubCommittee and JPMA, our goal is to revolutionize the concept and understanding for everyone about what actually is the safest environment for our children.
We believe in working with others at every turn, and find ourselves often connecting with other parent-made companies with similar beliefs of making the change in products that only cover some of the needs rather than all. This also means our standards are above product requirements, providing them with the best in quality and safety.
Join us in our mission and be the paradigm shift in safe sleeping because we all begin Bitzy. Enter the giveaway below or a chance to win a Bitzy Bumper plus a LooHoo 4-Pack.

My youngest is 4 years old, but we do have another baby on the way. Due in September. My current youngest sons favorite spot to sleep is snuggled up between me and my husband in our bed. That’s when he’s not in his own bed. He still gets up in the middle of the night sometimes and will come straight to our bedroom and crawl in bed with us.
on my chest.
My son’s favorite sleeping spot used to be on my husband’s chest. Now he won’t sleep anywhere but in his crib.
My son had a baby hammock that he loved!
Right now, my son’s favorite place to sleep is my arms! It’s hard to set him down! :)
My daughter loved sleeping in her swing :)
My little girl likes to fall asleep in my arms, however, she does pretty well in her cradle too. She is 6 months old, but is still very small, so we haven’t transitioned her into the crib.
my baby loves sleeping in arms!!! My arms are sore hahaha
My LO loves sleeping in the car. It never fails if we go somewhere that is more than 5min away she is going to sleep.
Our gal LOVES her crib — sleeping in there through the night since she was 3 months old (we are very lucky)!
Her favorite spot was on me, in the ergo or moby, & the swing was ok too
My daughter loved sleeping in her swing.
First bouncer, then crb.
These look great! I’m hoping our little one’s favorite sleeping spot will be her crib!
I loved when my kids started self soothing. It was wonderful to see them calm down and just fall back to sleep. They loved their cribs to sleep.
My daughter loves to sleep in the middle of my fiance and I in our big bed. Or very close to me on some nights. :)
I would say on her Daddy’s chest when they were both napping on the couch.
Well thankfully, my 5 month old has started to enjoy sleeping in his crib!
In my arms
My little guy Axton loves sleeping in his mommy and daddy’s arms!
My grandson sleeps best in his car seat
In his swing.
My new grandson currently sleeps with his parents but will soon move to his crib.
My son liked to fall asleep on mommy, but slept fantastic in his crib!
Our babies like to bed share. Then we transition them to the crib in our room. We feel they’re safer in our room where we can hear and see them. This bumper would add even more safety to our arsenal :-)
Baby is not here yet, can`t tell.
My babies all loved to sleep in my arms!
My son loves to sleep in his crib on his back. We used to co-sleep but he has been enjoying his own crib.
My baby love sleeping in my arms!!
favourite sleeping spot is in my arms
1st child- in the crib on his belly; 2nd child- in my arms or in his bouncy chair
in my arms
My baby girl could sleep anywhere. My baby boy sleeps with one eye open. He is happy wherever as long as he can see me. :)
My son sleeps best in his crib. He is still sleeping in a bassinet in our room at night until we get a monitor
My daughter could sleep anywhere, any time. She especially loved to snuggle with her dad or I or her special stuffed ducky. My son only liked to sleep in his own bed or his car seat while driving.
He a in his crib now:)
Next to me:)
i would love to try for my second grand baby, they will be sleeping in same room only 10 months apart
My son loved to sleep next to me when he was a baby!
My babe sleeps best in her swing, or in the Moby wrap.
Snuggled up anywhere with me
All my babies slept with me
Baby sleeps his absolute best in our bed after I get up for work. It’s bizarre but for some reason his early morning naps on our bed keep him soundly sleeping for a few hours.
In their crib or playpen.
My girl was born 6 weeks early so she’s in our room for a few months before she graduates to her big girl crib this summer!
Would love to try the bumper! Love the dryer balls!
My twin girls had to sleep in the same crib for quite a while.

Isn’t it funny how that happens as they get older and we’re not afirad of them being injured by thing in there anymore? Milo keeps adding more and more to his crib, and I don’t know how he manages to sleep with all of that. You’ve just inspired me to get a shot of that before it stops and I forget that he did that!
